
What do a wizard, a fairy, and a magic chicken have in common with witches and a little old lady who wasn't afraid of anything? Readers' Theater! Mrs. Roberts's class had a blast sharing their new violin skills, silly scary Halloween stories and poems, and spooky songs with parents.

Here's a peek into daily life in Mrs. Marzan's class. Students were working hard on reading skills, and they were preparing to take their spelling test on words they had been practicing all week!

Our fourth graders wrapped up their medieval studies with a feast fit for serfs! They loved experiencing a taste of history in their end-of-term medieval meal!

Third graders took a field trip to the Bean Museum last week. The kids had a great time. It was a fun culminating activity after studying animal classification in CKLA.





Mrs.McGinnis’ class is SOARING through their decimal unit! They participated in the great decimal race as they placed various decimals along a number line to compare them.

Fifth graders in Mrs. Gurney's class eagerly await their weekly reading sessions with their first-grade reading buddies. The fifth graders take on the role of mentors, guiding the first-graders through exciting stories, helping with difficult words, and encouraging questions about the tales they explore together.

Mrs. Eddington's class has been growing our classroom community. We are learning to love and appreciate everyone! We also showed how long a Saltwater crocodile is with some of our students lying on the floor.




In Mrs. McKinnon's class, students worked in groups to research and write a paragraph about the Ancient Civilization of the Aztecs.










Mr. Sansom, our district drama specialist, visited Mrs. Roberts's class to teach about audience etiquette in a theatrical performance. He also visited last week to coach Third Graders on their Readers' Theaters. His help and expertise were much appreciated!


In Ms. Thompson's Special Education class, our Speech teacher is helping us become Falcon Strong by using technology to augment our communication skills! We love Ms. Loveland!


Miss Carlile’s 4th graders are getting into the Halloween spirit and using their creativity to design haunted houses.
